Of course, that for a laminated surface, the varnish coating is not required. If the substitutes have a varnish surface, then during recovery work you will have to remove this layer and apply a new layer of varnish.
In this case, the above type of varnish coating is also suitable. A slightly different situation is formed when you chose a shield or modular parquet for a parquet floor. Such a parquet is mainly ready -made shields, on which drawings from the parquet bar are scored.
High -quality shield and modular parquet are made of natural trees, and many manufacturers impregnate parquet strips with a protective composition. It is just as perfectly succumbing to the parquet cycle, and after that you can apply any type of varnish to the surface of the parquet floor. But in this case, you can do with one layer of varnish, especially if you have chosen such a type of varnish coating as polyurethane varnish.
A feature of this varnish is that it is absolutely transparent, has a high degree of moisture resistance, is not exposed to sunlight, and is not erased for a long time. Therefore, this type of varnish is suitable for all types of parquet. But he has its negative aspects. Firstly, it is very difficult to apply to the surface of the parquet floor. This requires special professionalism, and special equipment. Secondly, it is very expensive, so not everyone will be affected by the restoration of parquet using this varnish.
But for artistic parquet, polyurethane varnishes are the most optimal choice. Primarily due to high technical and operational characteristics, and then because of its colorfulness.
