In Albania, on Valentine’s Day, the traffic police came to the aid of forgetful lovers. Those who did not take care of a gift in advance are offered to buy a personalized license plate for their car.
This can be done at a temporary kiosk in the Great Park in Tirana.
The individual design is created by master Bujar Mersini. Hearts, stars and the name of your loved one can be printed on the license plate.
The license plate costs 15 euros – the same as a box of chocolates. The initiative of the traffic police is aimed at saving lovers from an unpleasant situation and turning panic into a creative process.
Valentine’s Day is a popular holiday in Albania. In the Great Park in Tirana, forgetful lovers can also buy flowers. But many have already given gifts and came here just to walk. The area of the park is 230 hectares. It was created in the middle of the last century. There is an artificial lake, a zoo and a botanical garden.
