Big change: school number five Irkutsk is closed for major repairs. Necessary 110 million. Rules have already been allocated. Students have so far been distributed to three neighboring schools of the 2nd, 28th and 77th. They should return to their native walls exactly in a year.
The fifth school is preparing for major repairs: furniture, curtains, inventory are disassembled and taken out. Active participation in the process is taken by the manager Vera Kusheeva. She has been working here for seven years, just so much the school stood in the graph for overhaul. The estimate has already been compiled, the money was allocated almost 110 million rubles. The main works will begin in October. Everything will be changed from the foundation to the roof. In all offices, new windows and doors will be put, they will bed floors and turn the walls. Separate attention to the gym: they will overcome the floor, they will be equipped with locker rooms and showers.

“It is planned to restore showers here, because it does not work for a long time”.
Water supply and sewage systems require replacement and throughout the school. The basement is generally trouble: during the rain due to cracks in the foundation, water oozes on the walls and drowns an electrical panel. Which, by the way, has not changed 35 years – since the construction of the school. Thyroids themselves, of course, their condition is bad. The whole replacement is required here
The school territory is also waiting for big changes. Tamara Grebennikova, school principal 5:
“The stadium does not meet the requirements, the sports areas will be restored, there will be a platform for extended day groups, a game zone for children”.
Pupils of the fifth school will return to their native walls only next year: according to the plan, the repair of the building will last until mid -August. In the meantime, they, 810 people, are distributed into three schools: 2nd, 28th and 77th.
