Overtaking has become easier: a secret button under the gas pedal – why is it needed. Not even all experienced drivers know about the purpose of the button hidden under the gas pedal, it can provide your car with additional power, but you need to use this treasured button wisely.
The button under the pedal can be used in cases when you need to quickly complete a maneuver during overtaking on the highway; during a sharp start from a standstill, for example, at a traffic light or in an emergency; when leaving a difficult section of the road, for example, when skidding on snow; in situations where maximum acceleration dynamics are required.
Previously, the Kick-Start button was installed on cars with a mechanical gas pedal, but in modern models, electronic throttle valves are increasingly used – they are controlled through the engine control unit (ECU). In such cars, this function is activated by the program, without mechanical action on the button under the pedal.
