Stretch ceilings are a thin film or fabric used to pull on a special frame (otherwise it is called baguette). This frame can be fixed on the native ceiling or along the perimeter of the walls. The ceiling plane obtained as a result of installation work is perfectly flat and has the form of an absolutely solid ceiling. Installing a stretch ceiling is an ideal option to hide the shortcomings of the native ceiling, make engineering communications invisible, which are laid on it.
Installation of stretch ceilings is carried out in several stages:
1. Initially, it is necessary to remove the measurements-
2. The next step is the installation of the fastener profile-
3. Next, you need to install racks designed for spotlights-
4. Then the canvas itself is installed-
5. And finally, the installation of lamps is carried out.
After installing a stretch ceiling, you will appreciate its beauty. The stretch ceiling can be safely called a designer gift – transforming your room, it will make it much lighter and more beautiful, bring joy to you and your loved ones.
Work with this type of ceiling has a number of features. After receiving the stretch sheet, it should be removed from cardboard packaging and put in a warm room, without removing the packaging material. It should be remembered that nothing can be placed on top of the folded canvas.
All stretch fabrics, the width of which reaches 135 cm and exceeds this mark, have, the so -called, welded seam. Such seams are made on canvases every 130 cm, 150 cm or 200 cm. The interval between the seams depends on the type of film.
In some cases, creases that appear due to transportation or quite long storage of the canvas, which were already ready for installation, can also be noticeable on varnishes. Such creases disappear over time.
