The chopped house can sit down for up to three years, hard fasteners are unacceptable in principle. Modern technology allows the installation of windows immediately after assembly of the log house. For these events, a casing is used, in which a window or door is installed. The casing is attached to a special casing, which can slide along the logs vertically, without preventing the shrinkage of the house. A technological gap is left between the upper log and the casing, which is then filled with insulation and closed. Then this gap decrease as the house is shrinked, and the window will be motionless. You also need to take care of the roof, because it is a rather complex structure from the rafter system, crate, insulation and steam – waterproofing. The main difference when arranging the roof is that during the shrinkage of the house the rafters, the walls are glued smoothly along the upper logs of the walls on which they rest. In another case, the roof will not provide a load on the walls and the cracks may appear. The device of the rafter system should include special sliding elements, as well as hinges that allow the roof to sit down simultaneously with the house, while changing the inclination. This technology is rarely used, but for high -quality construction it is necessary. When installing a roof, only dry strict lumber can be used, which are antiseptic. The most optimal material for the roof can be considered cement-sand tiles. It is positioned as durable and does not require care, also endowed with good sound insulation.
